About Us

Dunya Computer Systems (DCS) is a share holding company. The company was founded in 1998 to provide computer services and communication technology to the Libyan market. DCS is located in Tripoli, Libya and has two locations, the head office is in the Nufleen area, and the other location is strategically located on Omer El-Mukthar St. in the heart of downtown. The company is planning to expand its service locations to other big cities in Libya in the near future.

Dunya expanded from a smaller company called National Computer Services, NCS, which has been providing services in Libya since the early 1980’s. NCS had clients that ranged from small family businesses to really big companies in different sectors including the oil producing sector, and large government institutions, and public companies. The services it provided consisted of developing client specific software and setting up networks. The company also facilitated training for network users and network administrators. Through the years and solid reputation, NCS developed solid connections in the Libyan business community.

Dunya picked up where NCS left off by providing even more services then before, we expanded our software team to develop better software, we improved our facilities to better train our customers, and we integrated a hardware department to setup sophisticated networks. Dunya, is an authorized dealer to the government run telecommunication’s company, LTT, and LTT is the countries main internet service provider. Because of this Dunya was able to provide internet services to thousands of individuals. Dunya’s goal is to provide the whole package to where customers can find all the technical solutions they need to operate at highest competitive level.

Being able to provide the latest technology available to an emerging market is the key to Dunya’s success. In the future, Dunya wants to lead the way in network solutions, providing hi-tech solutions to a market that is lagging behind.
